Terms of Service

The general terms governing use of the SION Varsity website, resources, programs and services.

Effective 2026 · Version 1.0 · Applies to SION Varsity

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SION Varsity website, resources, programs, assessments and related services. By accessing the site or enrolling in any SION Varsity program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and do not enrol.

01 · Program enrolment.

Enrolment is subject to the specific program terms, admission letter and fee schedule communicated at the time of admission. Those terms — in effect on the date of your admission letter — govern the specific engagement. This Terms of Service document is a general framework.

02 · Educational nature.

SION Varsity is a semiconductor engineering academy providing educational programs, materials, mentorship and assessments. SION Varsity is not a university unless separately disclosed. Program completion certificates recognise successful completion of the program and capstone; they are not university-issued degrees.

03 · No employment guarantee.

SION Varsity does not guarantee employment, internships, placements or specific career outcomes. Where high-performing students are considered for opportunities within the SION technology ecosystem, all such consideration is subject to individual technical performance, suitability, availability and business requirements. Nothing on the SION Varsity website should be read as an employment or placement promise.

04 · Acceptable use.

  • Do not misuse SION Varsity systems, disrupt live sessions, or engage in academic dishonesty.
  • Do not redistribute proprietary SION Varsity materials, curricula or assessments without written permission.
  • Respect fellow students, engineers, staff and partners at all times.

05 · Intellectual property.

SION Varsity materials, curricula, exercises, assessments and website content are the intellectual property of SION Varsity and its ecosystem, protected by applicable law. Student-authored project work remains the student's, subject to any specific project agreements disclosed at project start.

06 · Third-party tools and marks.

Programs may reference third-party tools (including tools from the Synopsys™ ecosystem, AMD Xilinx ecosystem and others). All such names remain the trademarks of their respective owners. Reference to a tool does not imply endorsement or partnership by that tool's vendor unless separately authorised.

07 · Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SION Varsity, its affiliates, engineers and staff shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site or services. This does not limit any liability which cannot be limited by law.

08 · Changes.

SION Varsity may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance.

09 · Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where SION Varsity is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
