Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds, deferrals and cohort changes are handled — transparent, timing-based, and disclosed in your admission letter.

Effective 2026 · Version 1.0 · Applies to SION Varsity

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to fees paid by students to SION Varsity for enrolment in its programs. Specific refund terms in effect at the time of your admission letter — as disclosed by admissions — govern your engagement. This document is a general framework.

01 · Guiding principles.

  • Fairness to the student and to the cohort.
  • Transparency — no manipulative countdowns or hidden fees.
  • Time-of-request driven — the closer to cohort start, the higher the cost of a change.
  • Written communication required — refund requests must be submitted in writing to admissions.

02 · Cancellation by student.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to admissions with your admission reference. The applicable refund depends on the timing of the request relative to cohort start and program milestones, as disclosed in your admission letter.

  • Before cohort start: Substantial refund typically applicable, less an administration fee, as disclosed at admission.
  • Within the initial cohort window: Partial refund window as disclosed at admission.
  • After the initial cohort window: Refund is typically not applicable; deferrals may be possible subject to policy.

03 · Cancellation by SION Varsity.

In the rare event a cohort is cancelled or rescheduled by SION Varsity, students receive either a full refund or a fee-adjusted transfer to a subsequent cohort, per your preference.

04 · Deferrals.

Where a student is unable to continue for genuine reasons (medical, family, unavoidable schedule change), a one-time deferral to a subsequent cohort may be considered, subject to policy in effect. Deferral is not a refund.

05 · Scholarships.

Scholarship benefit is contingent on continued enrolment and, where structured across milestones, on continued performance. Cancellation may affect scholarship entitlement, as disclosed in the scholarship offer.

06 · Payment processing.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable business timeframe, subject to payment-processor timelines. Refunds are net of any non-refundable third-party processing fees.

07 · Contact.

Submit refund or deferral requests in writing via the Contact page or your admissions advisor. Advisors will confirm the applicable terms per your admission letter.
