It depends on how you think. ASIC rewards architectural thinking and clean logic. Verification rewards obsessive precision and systematic breaking. FPGA rewards hands-on hardware intuition. Each program runs through the full nine-module curriculum plus a capstone project reviewed by practicing engineers. Exact duration depends on delivery mode (full-time, part-time, weekend cohort) and is confirmed with your admissions advisor.
Sequentially — yes, subject to admissions review each time. Most students specialise in one path first, deliver a portfolio-defining capstone, then optionally return for another track. We do not recommend attempting two programs simultaneously.

Yes, if you have genuine digital-design interest and reasonable digital fundamentals. Verification, in particular, benefits from CSE candidates with strong OOP skills. The advisor consultation and Talent Test help identify the best program fit.
Absolutely. Working engineers from embedded, firmware, hardware and adjacent domains transition into VLSI regularly. Advisors help calibrate a program fit and — where relevant — a suitable batch mode (weekends, evenings, etc.).
No. SION Varsity does not gate on college prestige, entrance-exam rank or coding-contest scores. What matters is engineering intent, willingness to practise, and reasonable digital-electronics fundamentals.
SION Varsity trains on professional EDA workflows including tools from the Synopsys™ ecosystem for simulation, synthesis and static timing analysis. Specific tool names and versions are disclosed at admission. Synopsys™ and any tool names remain trademarks of their respective owners.

No — different modules are taught by different specialised engineers. RTL modules by RTL engineers, verification modules by verification engineers, FPGA modules by FPGA engineers. This gives you depth from the right person on every topic.

Yes. Every capstone project is reviewed by practicing semiconductor engineers with specific, engineering-level feedback — not batch-graded. This is a core structural choice, not an upgrade.
Yes for student-owned work. Some capstone projects involve reference IPs or exercises whose specific implementation must be shared under agreed terms — advisors clarify at project start. Nothing about the SION ecosystem's confidential work is exposed to students.

SION Varsity focuses on capability — an engineering portfolio, engineer-reviewed work, and ecosystem visibility. Where high performers demonstrate exceptional ability, ecosystem-side opportunities may open. This is different from generic "placement assistance" — and it is deliberately structured that way.

Yes — session recordings are available for review. The value of live cohorts is engineer interaction and Q&A, which recordings can't replace, but the content is preserved for revision.
A SION Varsity program completion certificate — issued on successful completion of the curriculum and capstone. The certificate is a marker of program completion. The portfolio you build is the substantive proof.
